Questions available to choose.

I will be grouping the questions into two groups where one of which is probably my choice of questions.

2. Examine the future of the world as represented in a popular science fiction film, game, or novel. Selection should consider a title where media or communication plays a major role in its
scenario. Evaluate the likelihood or lessons of this futuristic vision in relations to actual current knowledge and developments.
6. Hackers are the heroes of the 21st Century. Argue for or against this statement.

First of, these two questions piqued my interest most out of the remaining ones. I would most probably be going with question number 6 however as I have not seen much sci-fi film, game or novel throughout that many years of my life. Virtual realities and Artificial Intelligence, A.I, on the other hand, are really tempting as of now. In terms of hackers, well, something I would definitely research on with much interest. Go, hackers!

1. Identify the established creative figures in your field of practice who have achieved success in a digital economy. Compare and access their methods for thriving in a market where so much is free or pirated.

3. Briefly trace the arrival of the Internet to Malaysia, analyse recent reports on the current state of the web in our country, and present the findings that may have the most impact on your field of practice.

4. Identify a distinctive digital design aesthetic or an online community particular to an Asian region or country. Explain how contextual factors influenced its development and can improve our appreciation of it.

5. Assess the roles and policies Malaysian Commission of Multimedia Communication and compare them with a similar organisation of another country. Which institution is more effective in serving the needs of the citizens?

7. Select a social networking site or digital art work and demonstrate how the analysis of the same artefact may differ when different critical theory or concepts are used. Which interpretation produced the most value or insight to the site/artefact?

For one, these questions did not catch my attention. I wouldn't be choosing them to answer for this brief because one, I do not have any creative figures in mind worth writing an essay about and second, the complexity of the multicultural Asian region just did not help make any of these questions sound anywhere less complicated. Number 5 could very much be my backup choice though if for whatever reason number 2 or 6 did not work out as I've originally planned.
